Preferred location, trolled off the rod tip onto the bottom third of the face of a pressure wave. The slant head should try to swim left, right, up, down, pop and splash. What you don’t want to see is spin, loop, stay on top splashing or stay down with no movement.
It should have a long bubble trail and are typically harder to use then a more conventional pusher or bullet style head often requiring more tuning to get right with angle off the rod tip or riggers, position in the spread and sea conditions all determining performance.
